The Golden Thread

"Walking about so attired attracts far more attention than carrying a whole face-full of piercings" says the designer of these incredible, historically inspired clothes, Astrid Luise Warter, who wants to look like her grandma, but with style! Disappointed and frustrated with current fashion, especially the discomfort it often provides (tight trousers, cropped tops exposing ones kidneys to the winds), she sews and wears her own wardrobe. Empire, Rococo and even kimono come into play, and not only for special occasions. Everything she makes is super-comfy as well as enforces good posture, nevertheless, Ms. Warter usually dons a reform dress at home.

These are my favorite outfits, check out the rest here at your leisure!
