Oh my, I just rewatched Pasolini's mesmerizing Medea, and was again enraptured by the organic scenery and fantastic costumes. Bead-encrusted lapis lazuli vestments and heavy golden necklaces in Colchis (patchwork blankets in all kinds of blue for the horses!), and in Thessaly tie-dyed robes, filmy veils and feathery layers in every color under the sun.

Unfortunately, I could not find any photos on the internet, but if you appreciate arty films and imaginative costume design, this oneiric experience is definately a must!
