A friend and I dropped in a restaurant along the Danube to warm up by a fire and have the best potato soup and poached char ever. Not that we had a chance to try anything else. our waiter decided what we were having, from wine aperitifs to apricot tiramisu and schnapps. I like men who take charge, but he went a little too far when he brought us the melange he suggested instead of the cappuccinos we meekly ordered!
